Georg Scherfler
Most Austrians love to ski and I’m no exception.
I was given my first pair of skis at the age of 3 from my Opa (Grandad) who worked for Fischer Ski,
and I’ve never looked back, except of course when I’m teaching!
Coming from Waldzell a village in Upper Austria not known for it’s mountains and ski resorts,
nevertheless this was enough to entice me forever.
I've skied in many places but St. Anton is my favorite,
where with friends we've enjoyed fantastic descents from the famous Valluga and Hinters Rendl.
For me, this is where modern skiing began with Hannes Schneider and also my passion for teaching.
